UT students winners in Coronavirus Hackathon

With their platform Mentor.me, a team of three UT students was one of the 37 winners of the Pan-European Hackathon EUvsVirus, organised by the European Commission. They will use their prize money of €4000 to further develop their prototype, aiming to connect students with voluntary mentors.

New Master programme on top of regular study

The UT offers a new educational programme, called ‘Shaping Responsible Futures’. This six months long extracurricular programme is facilitated by DesignLab and is open to all Master students at the university. The pilot edition will start in November.

Zes UT-studenten helpen de politie in de zoektocht naar drugsafval. Van de provincie Overijssel ontvangen ze data over het dumpen van restanten van synthetische drugs. Die bestuderen ze om patronen te ontdekken voor preventie en handhaving in de toekomst.

Speed dating for a shot at victory at the UT Challenge prizepool

A total of 26 teams attended the speed dating event in DesignLab yesterday. As part of the UT Challenge, students could pitch their ideas and had an opportunity to network with company representatives from VolkerWessels, Rabobank, Thales and Nature 2.0.
