De UT doet met vijf andere universiteiten mee aan het twin programme in mechanical engineering. Derdejaars kunnen een semester lang naar een van de ECIU-partneruniversiteiten voor dertig studiepunten.
UT-collegevoorzitter Victor van der Chijs is benoemd tot vicevoorzitter van ECIU, het Europese Consortium van Innovatieve Universiteiten. De UT is een van de twaalf aangesloten Europese universiteiten.
The 44th Batavierenrace has finished. Nijmegen (RU/HAN) team once again secured the first place among universities, while team S.N.O.T. became the overall winner of the race. The local UT/Saxion team has also done well, finishing in the 5th place.
A unique international team is participating in this year´s Batavierenrace. It includes only international students from ECIU universities, alias the European Consortium of Innovative Universities that the UT is also a member of. Many runners from the ECIU team are semi-professional athletes and are coming to the Netherlands solely to participate in Batavierenrace.
