Minister voorspelt mondkapjes in hoger onderwijs

Er is een goede kans dat er een landelijk advies komt om mondkapjes te dragen in hogescholen en universiteiten, zegt minister Van Engelshoven in een interview met het HOP. Naar verwachting zal het kabinet de maatregel morgen bekend maken.

At the beginning of the Covid crisis, medical face masks were difficult to source. Now test scarcity is becoming increasingly common. What lessons can the Netherlands learn from this? Researchers from the Public Procurement Research Centre, UT and Erasmus received 380,000 euros from ZonMw for an international comparative study into the procurement of critical materials during the corona crisis.

Peer groups to ensure corona measures on campus

To make sure that everyone on campus complies with corona measures, the UT will introduce a ‘peer way’ of working. Appointed students will keep track of fellow students’ behavior. Teachers will address teachers’ behavior. This was announced by the Executive Board during the University Council meeting in the Horst today.

Covid-19 in the Vestingbar

The Vestingbar on the UT campus has announced that a person infected with Covid-19 visited the bar on the 1st of September. The guest didn’t display any symptoms at the time, but later tested positive for coronavirus.
