Congratulations on winning the Award. What was that like?

‘We received the ‘CES Innovation Award 2025’ from the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) and CES. The award is a very powerful recognition. The selection was made by an expert panel of industry leaders and media representatives, which makes the award even more significant.'

What showed that appreciation?

‘Our week in Las Vegas started a bit earlier, because we were among a selected group of startups that were invited to participate at ‘CES Unveiled’. This pre event - which as the name says – unveils to the world top class innovations. We didn't just win the award, but we got to speak to to some of the most famous media outlets in the world, such as the Washington Post, The Times UK, and NBC. Many of them ‘crowned’ us as  ‘the best innovations to watch out for’. Just amazing! But it didn't stop there.'

Do tell us more...

‘During CES we met some of the industry’s leaders at our stand, and we had the privilege of speaking to the Dutch Minister of Economic Affairs, Dirk Beljaarts, to the Deputy Director-General, Tjerk Opmeer, the Consulate General of the Netherlands in San Francisco, Theo Peters, and the Mayor of Phenix, Kate Gallego, about the potential of our needle-free injection technology, and the impact we aim to make.'

How important is that to you as a spin-off?

‘We got to showcase our technology at the biggest consumer electronic exhibition in the world. CES 2025 had over 141,000 attendees (of which 40% were from over 150 countries) and 6,000 global media outlets, content creators, and industry analysts present. The impact that we’ve managed to make during such a short time has been overwhelming. As we were splitting our time between our booth at the Dutch Pavillion, Eureka park, and various interviews with international media, we met with potential industry partners and investors from all over the world. This would not have happened so easily if we would not have participated.'

What does CES look like?

‘This year, CES took place from 7 to 10 January, and had three main locations: LVCC Campus, Venetian Campus, and C Space Campus. Each of these venues is truly overwhelming in size and has several floors. In addition to the exhibition, you can also attend keynote speaker sessions and side events. It really ‘takes over’ the whole city for an entire week.'

What impressed you?

‘It has been very exciting to see how well our technology was received by everybody! People recognise the need and the potential of our innovation. They see the impact we are trying to make, and want to embrace it with open arms. For us, this confirms that it’s not just a technology push, but that actual users or consumers are eager to have it available as soon as possible’.

What are your further plans for this week?

‘We will continue on a 4TU mission to the Bay Area and Silicon Valley. The week will be packed with alumni networking events, coaching, company visits, and lots of inspiration for the startups joining.'

Once back in the Netherlands, what will you be telling your colleagues?

‘We will come back with even more energy, and testament that the work that we are doing is of great impact. It’s a moment of celebration for our whole team. Moreover, we will be telling everybody about this overwhelming week. It really feels like a once-in-a-lifetime experience; a week in which we got to speak to some of the biggest names in the industry as well as to visitors from all over the world, and in which we received a lot of media exposure.'
