Refugee Entrepreneurs Working at the UT Campus

DesignLab at the University of Twente is currently a home base for aspiring refugee entrepreneurs. Fourteen young Syrian refugees from a pre-startup school Delitelabs will be at the UT until Friday, working on their business ideas. ‘We encourage local students to come to the DesignLab. You will be surprised at the magic that happens when you put together people of different background,’ says Christof Hawle, Director of Delitelabs.

Then one day they decided it was time for a change, sold everything and began travelling the world while working remotely. Eerste LEO roboticacongres op de UT

Op het allereerste LEO roboticacongres dat donderdag plaatsvond op de UT, ging het onder andere over de rol die robots kunnen spelen in de zorg. Daarover sprak Jorrit Ebben van Gelderse zorgverlener Siza. Ook werd de eerste KIVI-LEO scriptieprijs uitgereikt. Winnaar was UT-masterstudent Tom Lankhorst.
