In Groningen slapen internationale studenten door kamernood in een tent bij het sportcentrum, meldt de Universiteitskrant van de RUG. Volgens de UT is het huisvestingsprobleem niet groter dan anders, ondanks het groeiende aantal internationals.

Problems with finding housing has led to international students in Groningen sleeping in a tent near the local sports centre, says the Groningen university newspaper. According to the UT, housing problems in Enschede aren’t bigger than usual, despite the growing number of international students.

Daarom was er speciaal voor 46 internationale masterstudenten een informatief college van Hemo Oumenad van Career Services. Het initiatief komt van de faculteit Engineering Technology.

That’s why 46 internationals listened to a lecture from Career Services employee Hemo Oumenad yesterday. The faculty of Engineering Technology took the initiative.
