Taizé Meetings in Enschede

| Redactie

Youth meetings in the style of Taizé are organized in several Dutch cities. Taizé is an ecumenical Christian monastic community in France, which focuses on perception, singing and silence. In Enschede, a Taizé meeting is organized every second Wednesday of the month.

For the participating young adults, it is a moment of silence, a moment to find peace and to get new inspiration. Central principles include singing, silence, religion and fellowship.

The meetings are prepared by young adults and are targeted at young people between the ages 15 and 30. Everyone is welcome.

There will be a meeting on Wednesday, February 9, in the Opstandingskerk located at Zonstraat 9 in Enschede. Doors open at 7 pm; the meeting starts at 7:30 pm. Upcoming meetings will take place on March 9, April 13, May 11 and June 8.
