Jan-Willem Timmerman, portfolio holder for operations at the S&T faculty, reports that there was no case of minor injury. The employee was hospitalised with injuries and is currently still in hospital. The employee is in no life threatening condition.
According to Timmerman, the accident and its aftermath have had a great impact on colleagues. He says the faculty board takes the incident seriously and takes action where necessary. Part of that is an investigation into the cause of the incident - and attention to those who want to engage in conversation or need support.
