NewsOproep aan CvB: nu actie nodig om eigen klimaatdoelen te halen
De UT wil in 2030 klimaatneutraal zijn, maar zet daarvoor te weinig concrete stappen. Dat zeggen medewerkers en studenten in een open brief aan het college van bestuur. De oproep is inmiddels ruim 150 keer ondertekend. ‘Met de brief willen we onze hulp aanbieden aan het CvB, zodat we de doelen halen.’

The UT wants to be climate-neutral by 2030, but is failing to take enough steps to achieve this goal. This is what staff and students say in an open letter to the Executive Board. The appeal has already been signed more than 150 times. ‘With this letter we want to offer our help to the Executive Board, so that we can achieve our climate goals.’

Tijdens de Week van Inspiratie vindt er op woensdag 24 november een wetenschapsquiz plaats voor studenten, medewerkers en bedrijven. De organisatie is in handen van Studium Generale en KIVI Students Twente, waarvan UT-studente Lieke Pullen voorzitter is. ‘Het belooft een leuke avond te worden.’

During the Week of Inspiration, a science quiz for students, employees and companies will take place on Wednesday, November 24. The organization is in the hands of Studium Generale and KIVI Students Twente, of which UT student Lieke Pullen is president. 'It promises to be a fun evening,' she says.
