‘Mijn streven is originaliteit’

Luuk van Ewijk, ook wel bekend als LUVANE, tekende deze week zijn laatste maandelijkse cartoon voor U-Today. Aan de hand van vijf tekeningen blikt hij terug. ‘Ik probeer in mijn cartoons grappen te maken zonder te stigmatiseren.’

‘My goal is originality’

Luuk van Ewijk, also known as LUVANE, drew his last monthly cartoon for U-Today this week. He looks back through five of his drawings. ‘In my cartoons, I try to joke without stigmatizing.’

‘Het draait allemaal om overdrijving’

Campuscartoonist Luuk van Ewijk, inmiddels beter bekend als LUVANE, gaf gisteravond de eerste Studium Generale-lezing van het voorjaar. Stap voor stap legde hij uit hoe zijn cartoons tot stand komen. ‘Wees vooral niet bang om door te tekenen.’

‘It's all about exaggeration’

Campus cartoonist Luuk van Ewijk, better known as LUVANE, gave the first lecture of Studium Generale this year. He explained step by step how his cartoons are made. ‘Never be afraid to keep sketching.’
