‘Mijn streven is originaliteit’

Luuk van Ewijk, ook wel bekend als LUVANE, tekende deze week zijn laatste maandelijkse cartoon voor U-Today. Aan de hand van vijf tekeningen blikt hij terug. ‘Ik probeer in mijn cartoons grappen te maken zonder te stigmatiseren.’

Luuk van Ewijk, also known as LUVANE, drew his last monthly cartoon for U-Today this week. He looks back through five of his drawings. ‘In my cartoons, I try to joke without stigmatizing.’

Expositie van 36 overleden Oekraïense studenten in de Bastille

In de Bastille zijn vanaf vandaag 36 verhalen te lezen van Oekraïense studenten die hun diploma nooit zullen halen. Ze overleden afgelopen jaar door de oorlog in hun land. UT-student Viktoriia Konashchuk is betrokken bij de organisatie van de Unissued diplomas-expositie.

Exhibition of 36 killed Ukrainian students in Bastille

From today, the Bastille will feature 36 stories of Ukrainian students who will never get their diplomas. They died last year due to the war in their country. UT student Viktoriia Konashchuk is involved in the organisation of the Unissued diplomas exhibition.

Groen licht voor Green Hub Twente

De UT krijgt een centraal punt voor alle kennis en initiatieven op het gebied van duurzaamheid, genaamd Green Hub Twente. Deze ‘hub’ komt in de Bastille en wordt gerund door studenten.

Green light for Green Hub Twente

The UT will get a central hub for all knowledge and initiatives in the field of sustainability, called Green Hub Twente. This hub will get a place in the Bastille and will be run by students.
