‘The main goal is to expand our knowledge on issues related to diversity and inclusion,’ say founders of UT initiative ‘Dialogical spaces for a diverse university’. They are organizing eight online sessions, with the first one held today, as well as producing a podcast series focused on diversity and inclusion at the UT.

The lockdown means staying at home and the UT student teams are no exception. But how do you build a solar car or an electric superbike if you cannot physically work together? So far, the teams are ‘on track’ with preparing for their respective competitions, but they all agree: ‘Keeping up the team spirit is the most difficult part of the lockdown.’

First-year UT bachelor's students will receive a relaxation of the binding study advice (BSA). Yesterday, the university council approved the decision of the Executive Board, which means that the bsa standard will be lowered from 45 to 40 ECTS.

Avondklok geldt ook als je tentamen moet doen

Als de Tweede Kamer morgen akkoord gaat, geldt er in Nederland tot en met 9 februari een avondklok tussen 20.30 en 4.30 ’s nachts. Instellingen en studenten hopen op een uitzondering voor studenten die ’s avonds tentamen moeten doen.
