Film ‘Esmeralda’ van UT-studente op internationale filmfestivals

Samantha Orozco Carvallo (24), UT-masterstudent Biomedical Engineering, werkte zes jaar lang aan haar stop-motion film 'Esmeralda, la historia del Eterno Enamorado'. De film draait nu op filmfestivals in Mexico, Spanje, Italië en Duitsland. ‘Hopelijk komt Nederland daar snel bij.'

Film 'Esmeralda' by UT student at international film festivals

Samantha Orozco Carvallo (24), a UT master's student in Biomedical Engineering, worked for six years on her stop-motion film 'Esmeralda, la historia del Eterno Enamorado'. The short movie is now playing at film festivals in Mexico, Spain, Italy and Germany. Hopefully you will be able to see it in the Netherlands soon as well.

Alexander Otten: Let’s get a move on!

Having limited movement control, because of brain damage of some sort, affects one’s life severely. It also affects the lives of the people surrounding the patient. There you have it: suffering from brain injuries degrades one into a patient. It means dependence. So just how great is it to solve a piece of the puzzle, to help people become independent again? Alexander Otten knows. He has been working on it for over 2 years.
