The state of the column

This column will be my last. This academic year, that is (sorry haters). So, to close off season one, I want to take these last couple hundred words to look back to what happened this year.

In mijn vorige column dwaalde ik in gedachten over onze campus in 2041: bruisend, dynamisch, aangenaam voor mens, plant en dier. Daar is nu een nieuw perspectief bijgekomen: de Noordtak van de Betuwelijn die, als het aan de Rotterdamse haven ligt, ervoor zorgt dat we in pakweg 2030 op de campus dag en nacht zitten te shaken door de langsdenderende goederentreinen.
