UT students winners in Coronavirus Hackathon

With their platform Mentor.me, a team of three UT students was one of the 37 winners of the Pan-European Hackathon EUvsVirus, organised by the European Commission. They will use their prize money of €4000 to further develop their prototype, aiming to connect students with voluntary mentors.

Onderzoek naar corona-gevolgen voor de UT

Een speciale commissie, het UT Scenarios Team, onderzoekt de gevolgen van het coronavirus voor de campus. ‘We kijken naar de langere termijn’, zegt Derek Jan Fikkers (directeur Strategie en Beleid). ‘In september willen we een aantal scenario’s presenteren hoe we om kunnen gaan met de gevolgen van het virus voor de hele organisatie.’
